Overall we had a nice trip, but the walking and the beach was disappointing.

The resort is well maintained and very clean, and the food is close to gourmet, way above any other all inclusive that we’ve stayed in, also the decor in all the dining rooms/restaurants were upscale. The room was extra large and I really loved the rain shower , also the property is spread out and we never felt crowded, adults only was a plus also.

Our room was a 10 minute walk to the beach, it was too far to walk, although we did get used to it. We found dealing with the concierge to be a problem, they were unresponsive and rude when we had a problem with our private car service being allowed through the security gate to pick us up, they told us we would have to meet the car at the gate (which is over a mile away) so we had to complain and deal with the manager and head of security, total headache dealing with inflexible policy. Also the beach water is always very shallow and full of rocks, we had to walk down to the adjoining Princess property (kids allowed) to go swimming.

I would highly recommend this resort to everyone..

The food and hotel were fantastic..very comfortable and safe, and had a very nice short walk to the beautiful beach!

Some of the staff that worked there, we thought could have been a little more friendly..the bar which had some of the friendliest bartenders, was the smaller pool..not the main pool...Deysi and David, the best and also Jacinto..

Overall amenities were fabulous but a couple of issues that management would not resolve.

The staff were amazing. They work tirelessly to make everyone’s stay incredible. Above and beyond! Loved the pools, the spa, the restaurants. Very classy location. Excellent concerts. Foam pool party was a highlight. Pool staff so energetic and fun! Stayed for a week.

We had black mold in our room. You could smell it very strong. It was visible in bath tub screen. There were black mold spores on our sheets and pillow cases. We were told by concierge it was from the dryers. They wouldn’t give us another room because the concierge said “a lot of rooms are like that”. Interesting that we visited friends rooms who did not have it on their sheets, nor did they have a mildly snell and visible black mold. We did hear another guest complaining about the same issue with no true resolution. They did replace the sheets and there were no black marks on them. My daughter got sick with sinus and chest cold and mid way through our stay we both got diarrhea and still have it upon our return. We were acquainted with a group of 56 other people of which a lot of people had the same gastrointestinal issues.

An enjoyable stay overall.

We received an upgrade when we arrived and so we enjoyed the spacious room with a very quiet section of the pool below our balcony. We enjoyed walking around the resort and the buffet selection was good for any meal. Staff were friendly and it was overall a pleasant stay. The entertainment was fantastic, we loved the reggae night and the music quiz, and the drinks were well-made - Fernando made us some excellent coffees with different liqueurs!

The restaurants were a little bit underwhelming. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant and reserved a spot for the cooking experience. This felt a little rushed and we saw other diners getting the same experience but with more tricks and attention so we felt a bit cheated! Occasionally the buffet was a bit cold and I was really disappointed by the lack of chocolate dessert options! It's an all-inclusive hotel and I wanted some seriously good chocolate cake, brownie or something!

The food and drinks was really good, the staff very nice.

The room has humidity smell, there was hair in the bathroom. They have shuttle bus to playa but they dont let bring your baggage with you because you should bring taxi from the hotel (of course very expensive).

Some of the staff wasn’t very friendly Also those weird coites animals were alll over the resort. They would walk up to you and try to grab your food. They’re easy to scare off but it’s hard relaxing on the beach and pool when they can pop up at any moment.

Middle of Nowhere & lots of Mexican Raccoons that resemble RATS

Modern design of the Resort. Huge shower in suites. This resort was average sized. Staff was friendly and got to know us on a 1st name basis.

Absolutely NO entertainment at Yucatan. We were able to visit the sister property for entertainment. Free shuttle to sister property (Rivera Maya) provided though it was within walking distance mabe 10-15 min walk both ways. Men have to wear PANTS to dinner or they cannot enter. It's extremely too hot for pants in September. No accommodations were made. ROOM SERVICE TOOK UP TO 1 HR AND THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE! The buffet offered the same foods each day. There is plenty of food to choose from, but you will become bored after day 2. The food was just OKAY.. There are A LOT of lizards, iguanas, cats & Mexican raccoons roaming the outside grounds. One of the 2 elevators was down the entire 5 days and the second elevator broke down twice. Be prepared to walk 3 flights of stairs. The elevator only holds two ppl at a time. No elevator inspection by the commissioner was displayed anywhere in the elevator car, which made it feel unsafe.

Wonderful

What I enjoyed about this property was the room, beach and pool areas. They have a "party pool" and quiet pool as well. So, when booking the room make sure to ask which pool you want your room around because the party pool has loud music playing and for some this is an issue. I also loved the beach. I mean I will always enjoy the beaches but they have enough seating and there is also a bar/mini restaurant. I had an amazing room, which was upgraded and huge. They have a shuttle service that will take you into town for $4 (each way) which was a bonus. There is a desk that will help you book different tours which is great, however, I would purchase from the guys walking along the beach because it is much cheaper. Overall, I would come back to this resort because it was very nice and I was able to truly enjoy myself.

The only thing I did not care for was the food. I know that it is hard to find places that have amazing food. This could be because I truly enjoy cooking so I looked at the food from a different standpoint. The food was not bad, it just did not have enough seasoning for me. Like the food was bland. I received a massage for 50% off which was great but the spa itself wasn't what I was expecting. I thought I would be able to enjoy a full spa day with steam room and sauna but they did not have that available.

Would recommend to anyone, would love to come back

I really enjoyed that the resort was well laid out, it was beautiful. The staff was pleasant and so nice they catered to our every needs. It was always something to do on the campus you didn't have to travel or go far.

Our room at 1st was very, very hot. The air conditioning stopped working. But on the 2nd day we were moved to a different room that was cooler.

Satisfying stay and stress free vacation resort. Really good food, some come ready to eat and be pampered by a wonderful

Tropical. Pools were very nice and easily accessible. Really good food and 24/7 bar was convenient. Beautiful structures and close to the beach. Staff was very friendly. Great massage at the Spa. Security staff was impressive. Felt very safe.

Large cockroach in room. Service desk didn’t seem to see it much as a concern. Their explanation was that we were surrounded by jungle. My coffee maker broke on 3rd day and I was promised it would be replaced by the next day, but it wasn’t. The dress code strictly for men. Had to buy a pair of pants in order to take advantage of the Fine Dining. Could be a little lenient by allowing dress shorts and flip flops for men, especially because of the heat.

Friendly staff, good dance shows and overall good entertainment staff. The property also made us feel safe and had good connections with tour companies.

Room had a strong moldy smell to it and was outdated (didn't look much like the pictures). The huge amount of sargassum on the beach made it impossible to actually use the beach, as well as the overbearing smell of it which was noticed throughout the entire property (although this is not the hotels fault).

My stay was excellent. The staff are amazing people. I felt at home. They were there to assist 24hrs a day if needed. I'll definitely be going back. SPA service were impeccable.

I wish the resort had more restaurants. OUT of The 5 I only enjoyed 2. The Buffet had plenty and was never disappointed. Add more night activities to the resort since it's Adult Only. Have more wine and champagne options for those who do not patronize spirits on the all-inclusive side. Upgrade the elevator because I got trapped twice.

Great hotel They upgraded our room because we are in honeymoon free of charge! Facilities and beach are great. The room is amazing abd comfortable. Food and drinks were not premium but were good.

The main pool doesn't have much beds with shade. But there are lots of smaller pools.
